Founder and Principal Veterinary Surgeon
Dr Zaks previously gained experience at Lort Smith Animal Hospital and RSPCA in Burwood.
Jack has an extremely friendly and practical approach to veterinary practice. Although Dr Zaks is not a registered specialist, he has a key interest in dermatology (skin conditions), arthritis and Orthopaedics. Through careful history taking and extensive clinical examinations, Dr Zaks has been able to solve most of the difficult skin, ear and arthritic cases presented to him.

Anaban graduated from the University of Melbourne in 1996. He gained extensive clinical and surgical experience in a range of clinics in Melbourne over the next several years.
In 2001, he passed comprehensive examinations to become a Member of the Australian & New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists (ANZCVS) in Surgery.
Then in 2002, he passed further examinations to become a Member of the ANZCVS in Emergency & Critical Care.
Anaban is skilled in both orthopaedic and complex soft-tissue surgical procedures. Some of the procedures that he frequently performs are cranial cruciate ligament replacement, bone fracture plating and/or pinning, joint dislocation surgical correction, patella (Knee-cap) dislocation surgical correction, laryngeal paralysis surgical treatment, perineal urethrostomy and tumor removal.
Dr Silvana Conillo BVSc
Professional Interest in Diagnostic Ultrasound
Silvana is an overseas trained and Australian recognised Veterinary Surgeon with over 20 years of experience.
She completed multiple ultrasound courses in Europe and Asia. In 1999, she obtained further education in the field of human medicine diagnostic ultrasound.
Silvana provides a mobile diagnostic ultrasound service, and performs procedures such as FNA (Fine Needle Aspiration), core biopsies, echocardiograms and ECGs.
Dr Kasturi Bhadsavale BVSc, MVSc (Surgery)
Professional Interest in Ophthalmology
Kasturi has a MVSc in Veterinary Surgery from Bombay Vet College, India (2006). During her Masters she developed a keen interest in Ophthalmology. As there were no Veterinary Ophthalmologists in India, she pursued her interest by getting trained under a human ophthalmologist.
She has spent over a year travelling to different Veterinary Ophthalmologists In Israel and USA.
Kasturi has over 10 years experience in the field of Ophthalmology and is now offering her services as a consulting professional interest Ophthalmic Vet to our clinic.
Dr Richard Woolley BVetMed DipECVIM-CA (Cardiology) MRCVS
Specialist in Veterinary Cardiology
Richard is the only specialist Veterinary Cardiologist in Victoria, and one of only a handful registered specialist Veterinary Cardiologists in Australia.
He has many years of experience in cardiology and respiratory medicine of all animals, from mice to gorillas.
His present focus is on specialist cardiorespiratory medicine of dogs and cats.
